If there’s one thing Paul knows for sure, it’s this: business growth doesn’t come from selling harder, it comes from connecting better.

With over 25 years of experience across software engineering, accounting, recruitment, marketing, and public speaking, Paul brings a unique blend of structure, strategy, and heart to business development. He started out writing technical codes and developing accounting systems that made businesses run more efficiently while achieving measurable results.

But it was through Toastmasters and Rotary that Paul discovered his passion and what truly drives success; and this is through meaningful conversations.

That passion led to The LinkedIn Strategist and his signature Business Development Mastery (BDM) framework, a people-first, outcomes-driven system that helps professionals clarify their message, grow their network, and turn genuine conversations into measurable results.

What we do

We don’t do social selling. That’s how platforms such as LinkedIn look at marketing. Our focus is on People, not Platforms.

We don’t do transaction selling. We used to do that for big corporations, but it’s just not our thing anymore.

What we do is relationship selling. It’s about building relationships and genuine trust with the people who matter – like your prospects and partners, so you’re seen as the preferred expert in your space.

Our clients don’t pay us to ‘do their marketing’. They work with us to create more live conversations that they can convert into real revenue. And that’s what Business Development Mastery is all about.

  • Technology: Paul, our proprietor, is a software engineer. That means he sees LinkedIn differently, not just as a social platform but as a very sophisticated software. And that’s why he knows how to make it work for you. Just a thought, how many LinkedIn coaches/ experts do you know are also software engineers?
  • Time: Paul has spent more time on LinkedIn than 99.99% of its users. LinkedIn isn’t just a social platform for him, it’s a key component in our business offerings and expertise.
  • Testing: We constantly test and try new and different ways to use LinkedIn. Some of our ideas take off (and yes, we’ve been thrown off LinkedIn a few times last year during testing ten times in as many weeks) (I have produced more than my fair share of SPAM: which means I know what SPAM looks and tastes like better than most and how to avoid producing it: Content or messaging that is GUI —→ Generic, Unwanted and Irrelevant to a specific person & audience)
